قصة فيلم The Tender Bar:

يروي شريط العطاء قصة جيه آر (تاي شيريدان) ، وهو صبي بلا أب يكبر في توهج البار حيث النادل ، عمه تشارلي (بن أفليك) ، هو الأكثر حدة وأكثرها ملونة من مجموعة متنوعة من الأب الغريب والثاني الأرقام. وبينما تكافح والدة الصبي المصممة (ليلي راب) من أجل تزويدها بفرص معها – وترك المنزل المتداعي لها ، فإن والدها الداعم المذهل (كريستوفر لويد) – تبدأ ج. آر. أحلامه الرومانسية والمهنية – بقدم واحدة مستمرة في بار العم تشارلي. يعتمد شريط المناقصة على مذكرات الأكثر مبيعًا التي تحمل نفس الاسم بقلم J.R.
